Project #3: Power Alarm

Hello Everyone,
While we've been waiting for deliveries with parts for our other projects, we thought we'd get started on a power alarm.

This project doesn't really have any unique features, we're mostly doing it out of necessity. The water alarm needs a wireless interface to alert me of a soon to be flooded basement when I'm not within earshot. And because we are waiting on parts to arrive to finish that part of the project, I will be in a soggy predicament if I am not able to hear the interim water alarm going off (see a video of the current state of the water alarm here).

The biggest risk of this happening is if the power goes out while I am asleep upstairs, and I snooze through the water alarm going off in the basement. So, let's make a simple power alarm to wake me up!

We want a quick and dirty build, so here's all the features we need to include:
-Detect when power to the house is out
-Sound an alarm to wake us up
-Have a battery powered source to sound the alarm when power is out
-An LED to let us know the battery is low
