BeyBlade Stadium Plan

As our last post explained, we will be building a BeyBlade Stadium with a couple of extra features.

First we are going to add some user configurable lighting to the stadium, and second we are going to add some pinball style arms to the walls.

After taking some measurements of my sons existing stadiums, we are going to design the stadium to be approximately 14" x 18" because that seems to work out well for his 1 on 1 battles. And we are going to make the bowl roughly 1.5" deep based on measurements of those same stadiums. These dimensions work out quite nicely with using 1x6 boards for the walls, which will lead us to build the arena as an octagon.

To light up the action, we are going to add an RGB LED strip around the perimeter of the stadium with a switch to configure the colours.

And the fun part, we are going to add two arms (one for each player) that will swing out from the wall when the player pushes a button. This will allow players to push beys that come too close back into the centre of the arena or even burst them.
